Project reveal: Mid-Century Modern Kitchen

Located in Hampton,NH our clients are a young family located in an adorable neighborhood just a few miles from the beach. They have lived in the home for a few years but decided it was time to update their home and make it more their style. They really wanted to start with the kitchen because it was really dated and had a ton of heavy dark wood that made the space feel cramped and un-inviting.

They are really drawn to the mid-century modern style and love open/airy spaces. They have three young kids so their space needed to be kid friendly, have a bunch of storage options and most of all- not be too precious.

We worked with them on a design that utilized their existing footprint and layout but just slightly reconfigured to meet their needs. To achieve this, we included a bunch of different in-cabinet systems that designated each cabinet for a specific purpose with storage built-in. This streamlined the flow of the kitchen and increased their storage without increasing the actual footprint.

One of the best parts of this kitchen is the hidden walk in pantry that is located next to their refrigerator. With the oversized door flush with the fridge, it looks like just another cabinet. They got rid of the old bi-fold doors from their old pantry and brought the cabinet out to give them more space.

If you’re moving a home reno to the top of your to-do list this year, we would love to hear about it! Check out our booking page to see our offerings!
