A second home with waterfront views turns into a California-inspired retreat from 1,500 miles away.

When our clients asked us to completely refurnish, restyle, and install their newly-purchased second home in Fort Lauderdale, our team traveled to the 6,600 square-foot home to assess the needs. We put together several design boards that brought the space to life, helping our client find the one that felt most like them. Sage handled the entire design, inside and out.

When our family purchased a six bedroom; six and a half bathroom, 6,600 square foot dream vacation home in Ft Lauderdale, we quickly realized the task of furnishing this behemoth with everything from window treatments to silverware was more than we had bargained for from 1,500 miles away.
We turned to Jordan and Beverly of Sage Market + Design whom we had used on some prior jobs near our home base in Newburyport, MA. They quickly put together a proposal including samples and a budget, and we put the wheels into motion.
After presenting us with many various styles and options using computer generated design boards, Beverly and Jordan placed all the orders. They partnered with a local logistics company for receiving, storing, and “white glove” delivery service which Jordan and Beverly supervised in person on one of their many trips to the home.
In the end, Sage Market + Design handled the entire project which included wall paper, lighting, ceiling fans, indoor furniture, outdoor furniture, televisions, (8) and accessories. This required the coordination of dozens of subcontractors, vendors, tradesmen and suppliers, all done (in spite of the serious Covid 19 spike last fall) on time and under budget!
We couldn’t be happier with the professional, complete service we received, not to mention how beautifully stunning the results are. We would recommend Sage highly to anyone.
